Your life path number, also called the destiny number, is worked out by adding every digit of your birth date until one digit is left. Reduce the day, the month and the year separately, then add those three results and reduce once more. The exception is 11, 22 and 33, which stay as they are.

In numerology, the life path number is the most important figure in your chart. It points to the core lessons you will work through, the openings that come your way and the potential you arrived with. Its weight is comparable to your sun sign in astrology.
How to calculate it, step by step
Take your birth date in day, month and year, and add the digits until you are down to one.
Worked example: 15 May 1992 (15.05.1992)
Day: 1 + 5 = 6
Month: 0 + 5 = 5
Year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 2 = 21 → 2 + 1 = 3
Total: 6 + 5 + 3 = 14 → 1 + 4 = 5
This person's destiny number is 5.
Note: if a master number such as 11, 22 or 33 turns up during the addition, you do not reduce it to a single digit.
