What are the definitions based on?
Each definition follows the established framework of its tradition: Freud's and Jung's psychology and Islamic dream interpretation for dream terms, the classic Yijing text for I Ching, the Elder Futhark alphabet for runes, and the Western house and aspect system for astrology.
Is astrology or fortune telling scientific?
No. Astrology, fortune telling and similar practices are not predictive tools validated by the scientific method. The glossary explains these concepts in their cultural and historical context; readings are meant for self-reflection and entertainment.
