What is a Life Path Number?
The Life Path Number is the number in numerology calculated from the digits of the birth date, and it is usually given the most weight. In the common method, the day, month and year are each reduced to a single digit, then added and reduced again. For someone born on 14 July 1990, the day gives 1+4=5, the month 7 and the year 1+9+9+0=19, 1+9=10, 1+0=1; then 5+7+1=13 and 1+3=4, so the life path is 4.
