What does the Coin figure tell you?
Coins near the rim suggest money arriving soon, while coins that trail off towards the bottom ask you to keep an eye on where small amounts are slipping away.
A question to sit with: Track where small amounts go this month; the coins add up both ways.
By its place in the cup
In cup reading a shape changes meaning with its place. Near the handle it speaks about your own life; on the far side it speaks about what comes from outside. Time runs from the rim down to the bottom.
| Position in the cup | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Near the handleyou, home, close circle | Family money, a gift or something inherited. |
| At the rimthe near future, within a few weeks | Money may come in shortly, often a small sum. |
| In the middlethe medium term, over weeks | Money matters may improve gradually over several weeks. |
| At the bottomthe past and roots; in some readings the distant future | Long-term savings and the slow growth of wealth. |
| Opposite the handlestrangers, work, what comes from outside | Income from work, clients or outside sources. |
What Coin says about love, work and money
- Love
- Practical matters, such as shared costs or a gift, come into a relationship; talk about them openly.
- Work
- A raise, a bonus or fair payment for work already done.
- Money
- A financial gain is suggested, more likely steady small sums than one large windfall.
