Horizontal lines just above the wrist. Each line is believed to represent approximately 25-30 years of life. Deep, smooth lines indicate health and longevity.

Thin vertical lines above the marriage lines. Believed to represent the potential number of children or significant bonds related to children.

The branch analyzing character through hand shape, finger structure, nail form, and general hand appearance. A separate expertise from line reading.

The art of interpreting the future by reading palm lines. The line-reading branch of palmistry and the most commonly known type of hand reading.

The hand you actively use (right for right-handed, left for left-handed). Shows your current life, conscious choices, and present path.

The line extending vertically from the palm base toward the middle finger. Shows career path, life direction, and influence of external circumstances. Not present on everyone's hand.

Unique skin patterns on fingertips. Three main types: loop (adaptability), whorl (independence), and arch (practicality). Don't change throughout life.

An arc above the heart line between the index and ring fingers. Represents high emotional sensitivity, passion, aesthetic sensitivity, and romanticism.

Hand types divided into four elements: Earth (short, square fingers), Air (long fingers, square palm), Fire (long palm, short fingers), Water (long palm, long fingers).

The line crossing the palm horizontally, starting from or near the life line's beginning. Reflects thinking style, intelligence type, learning style, and decision-making approach.

A diagonal line extending from below the pinky to the palm base. Interestingly, its absence means strong health. Its presence may point to health matters requiring attention.

Lines are evaluated for depth, clarity, and continuity. Deep lines represent strong energy, thin lines sensitivity, broken lines periods of change.

Short horizontal lines below the pinky finger above the heart line. Indicate significant romantic relationships and emotional attachments. Number doesn't necessarily reflect number of marriages.

The area below the ring finger. Associated with creativity, art, success, and social charm. Being developed means strong aesthetic sense and charismatic personality.

The raised area below the index finger. Associated with ambition, leadership, self-confidence, and sense of justice. Being well-developed indicates strong leadership potential.

The area below the pinky finger. Associated with communication, business intelligence, science, and health. Being developed means strong communication and business skills.

The fleshy area on the outer palm below the pinky above the wrist. Associated with imagination, intuition, subconscious, and creative inspiration.

The area below the middle finger. Associated with responsibility, discipline, wisdom, and quest for solitude. Being overly developed may indicate a melancholic nature.

The fleshy area surrounding the thumb base in the palm. Associated with love, passion, vitality, and sensual pleasure. The largest mount, reflecting life energy.

Two Mars mounts in the palm: Upper Mars (independence, courage) between thumb and index finger, Lower Mars (endurance, patience) below the palm center.

A deep-rooted tradition dating back to 3000 BC. It developed independently in India, China, Mesopotamia, and ancient Greece. Aristotle is known to have written about palm reading.

The non-dominant hand. Represents your innate potential, hereditary traits, and subconscious tendencies. Comparing both hands provides awareness.

Special symbols found in the palm such as stars, crosses, squares, triangles, islands. Each has different meaning: star (success), square (protection), island (obstacle).
